Association of Christian CounsellorsACC aspire to help sustain and support our members in the work they do for the benefit and care of individuals and communities. The ACC is the only Christian UK-wide counselling organisation holding an Accredited Register with the Professional Standards Authority. [Accreditation means that they have met the Authority’s demanding standards in the following areas: governance, setting standards, education and training, managing the register, providing information and complaints handling].

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy – the BACP believes that counselling changes lives – not just the lives of individuals, but of families and communities. Their work reflects their  passion for the value of counselling and its potential to improve lives.

Mind and Soul Foundation – In many churches and health-care settings Christianity and mental health are kept deliberately separate. Mental health is rarely discussed in our churches and Christian spirituality is seen as having little to offer the world of psychology. Mind & Soul aim to educate; sharing the best of Christian theology and scientific advances, equip; helping people meet with God and recover from emotional distress and encourage; engaging with the local church and mental health services.

Southampton Family Trust – Southampton Family Trust is a charitable organisation which has been working in Southampton since 2002. They provide information, parenting courses, couple work and one-to-one support for the various life stages, difficulties and joys that family life brings.

UK Council for Psychotherapy – the UKCP are the leading organisation for the education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors in the UK.
